This ripe juicy South African red is made up of grapes grown by traditional growers in the Swartland area. It is composed of 70% Shiraz, 27% Mourvedre & 3% Viognier, which are fermented together. A South African take on a Rhône style. A great value bottle that works well with hearty stews.
Official Tasting Notes Co-fermented Shiraz and Viognier do their thing whilst waiting for the later Mourvèdre to create this combination. The sandy nose suggests summer pudding and crushed raspberries with notes of aramatic spice and a latent creaminess. Ripe, juicy on the palate which is at once vibrant and dark.
