A Kolsch is a beer quite similar to a lager. Leith's Pilot Brewery take this classic style and combine it with plenty of hops making it fruitier. If you ever happen to be in Cologne (the birthplace of the Kolsch style), we would thoroughly recommend visiting one of the local bier houses and trying some Kolsch. They have quite an interesting serving style (small glasses that are consistently replaced when required).
