Planteray XO 20th Anniversary was released to celebrate Alexander Gabriel's 20th anniversary as their master blender. To create this rum, they took Barbados rums between the ages of 8-15 years old and finished them in a mixture of casks in France (white oak, bourbon, French oak Cognac) for between 2 and 10 years. As you can see, this product shows the effort and skill that is put into blending their rum. Additionally, the rum contains 20 grams per litre of their own bespoke barrel aged sugar, which sweetens the rum. Some prefer unsweetened rums. We like that Planteray are transparent with their additions.
