Scapa Skiren

We have always had a fondness for Scapa. Orkney's lesser known malt, producing a fair bit less whisky over the years than its more famous neighbour. A tropical dram, for those tropical summers on Orkney (we are not sure about the tropical summers!).

Staff Tasting Notes

Nose – Lots of sweet summer fruit- raspberry, pear, peach, apricot, honey suckle and lychee. There is a light touch of white chocolate fondant and milk bottle sweets.

Palate – Big burst of fresh American oak, lemon, lime, honey and juicy notes. An easy drinking and very enjoyable dram.
