A unique and exciting take on a spiced rum, combining Sugar House' long fermented, fruity rum with Scotch Bonnet chillies, grapefruit, pineapple and passionfruit.
Staff Tasting Notes Nose : The tropical fruits are certainly at the forefront, with pineapples/mangoes most prominent. Palate : Juicy sweet fruits, quite elegant overall. Weight from the pot still rum helps to carry this with a good texture. Finish : Firey pepper erupts at first and slowly fades giving way to fruits again. Comments : Suprisingly well balanced, despite all of the big flavours, and carries the sweetness well. This would certainly give a Mai Tai a chilli kick!
