Thistledown The Great Escape Chardonnay

Fresh and crisp, yet beautifully textured. Fresh, citrus zest and blossom, with the subtle rounding influence of nutty, slightly creamy oak spice - An ideal accompaniment for a ripe Brie or Camembert.

Grown in the cooler climes of the Adelaide Hills, the long days for ripening are balanced by the lower average temperatures, making for a balanced Chardonnay that has good acidity. The aim at Thistledown with this Chardonnay is to maintain the crisp fruity notes, while adding delicate texture and oak.
