A giant amongst Champagne grower-producers, with a reputation rivalled only by Anselme Selosse, Francis Egly uses biodynamic methods to produce wines of remarkable clarity of vintage, harvest and site. The wines are fermented with native yeasts, do not undergo malolactic fermentation, and are bottled without fining or filtration – as has been stated many times before, these are great wines by any measure, bubbles or not.
