The aim behind the winemaking of this Marlborough Gewürztraminer was to create a wine that had the fruit and aromatic notes that this varietal can have, but with structure and some savoury notes. With a percentage of this wine being wild fermented in old French oak (5%), another percentage being whole crushed including stalks, and another element having more skin contact (2%), there is a fair amount of work that goes in to this bottle. Ben Glover takes all these elements to create a complex wine that is excellent with roast pork or a cheese board.

Official Tasting Notes Bright straw green in colour. Enticing red capsicum, gooseberry and freshly cut lemongrass on the nose. Focused primary fruit with elegant textural weight and balanced lingering acidity.
