A A Badenhorst The Curator Rose Can

Delicate and juicy, with a subtle, slightly earthy rose petal florality - gorgeous with a summer salad.

Winemaker, Andre Adriaan "Adi" Badenhorst, along with his cousin, Hein, founded AA Badenhorst Family Wines in 2008 when they purchased 60 hectares of land in Paardeberg, Western Cape. Applying his decades of experience, Adi farms his vineyards organically and describes his winemaking as "back to basics", using traditional winemaking equipment and cement vessels.

This rosé is made exclusively from Cinsault grown at the winery itself, on the granite soils of Kalmoesfontein farm in Swartland. The grapes are picked by hand and chilled overnight before pressing into tanks for overnight clarification by gravity sedimentation. The juice is fermented, then bottled with only minimal filtration.
