Akashi Daiginjo Genshu Sake

A handy small bottle size, for those wanting to take their first steps into the wonderful world of sake. Akashi Tai aim to create a fruitier style with this Daiginjo Sake. To do this, they have left 40% rice kernels within the mash, which is a high level of milling. This is then brewed through a complex brewing process.

Tasting Notes

Nose: A clean blossomy note erupts with sharp apple leading to more gentle floral notes and a touch of fruit flesh. Palate: More apple comes on the palate, with gooseberry flavours running just behind. A small acidity lingers and a little salty note punches through at times.
