The Atlantic Rainwater Madeira 50cl

It’s safe to say that this is a very special Madeira. The wine was created in order to commemorate a legend of madeira. It is said that as the Madeira lay on Funchal Quay waiting to be shipped to Baltimore heavy rains slightly “diluted” the waiting Madeira, leading to the lighter ‘Rainwater’ style. This limited edition of only 2,400 bottles was shipped to the UK aboard a wooden sailing boat in 2019. A look back on different times, through the lens of a delicious wine. (And don’t worry, this is only grapes! No water has made it’s way into the very precious Madeira!)
