A playful and complex single-vineyard Chenin Blanc - A perfect companion to a juicy roast chicken.

Frei vineyard is a small plot of newly grafted vines onto what were originally Pinot Gris vines - Chenin Blanc cuttings from vines planted in 1979. The vineyard is situated in the Green Valley of Solano County, California. The grapes were direct pressed, fermented by native yeast, and aged in neutral French oak barrels for 10 months, with full malolactic fermentation.
