An Islay distillery that only makes a small amount of smoky single malt each year, we were very excited to try this single cask Bunnahahbain. Selected and bottled for our sister company Royal Mile Whiskies, this is one of 222 bottles.

Staff Tasting Notes

Nose – Initially ashy and coastal, like an extinguished beach bonfire this quite quickly shows chlorinated and medical elements, and then some farmy, stable-like character appears.

Palate – The palate is sweet initially, then defined by smoked and medicinal character, and ends with the gravelly, stone-like finish.
