Casa Relvas Ciconia Branco 2022

Fresh, ripe and expressive, with ripe tropical fruits and a mineral finish - very versitile, pair with anything from flower marie to Arbroath smokies.

Named for the species of stork that inhabits Alentejo, Ciconia ciconia, this is a wonderful value wine from the brilliant winemakers at Casa Relvas.

This is a blend of Antão Vaz, Viognier and Verdelho from the clay and schist soils of Alentejo. The fruit is mechanically harvested at night, when cooler temperatures help to preserve aromatics, fully destemmed and pressed under vacuum. The must is fermented in stainless steel, then aged on lees in the absence of oxygen.
