Champagne Famille Delouvin Fauve Brut Nature NV

"Fauve" from Famille Delouvin is a blend of 75% Chardonay and 25% Pinot Meunier grown on chalky soils in the village of Vandieres in the Marne Valley.

The varieties are vinified seperately in stainless steel, without malolactic fermentation, and the wine is stabilised for 6 months in these vessels prior to blending (with the addition of reserve wines) and bottling. The assemblage is aged in bottle on lees for 60 months before disgorgement with zero dosage. This Brut Nature Champagne is then cellared for a further 6 months before release.

Official Tasting Notes
Beautiful nose with loads of butter, toast and a warm charm. Rich and engaging palate with brilliant texture and depth of fruit. There is a lovely airy freshness to it too. So well done and so drinkable.
