A very exciting champagne from the archives of Collard-Picard.

Presenting The Isle of Raasay batch R02.1.  It is their standard release and is crafted with peated Concerto barley that has fermented for up to 5 days.  Maturation occured in a combination of ex-Rye casks, first-fill Bordeaux red wine casks, and new Chinkapin oak casks, and it has been bottled without added colour or chill filtration.  The result of this exacting process is a decadent, lightly peated dram full of dark fruit and spice notes. 

For the final installment of their Allt Gleann series, Torabhaig has embraced their philosophy of well-tempered peat, with this batch being bottled at a ppm of 22.8.
