Rosso No.1 2016/17/19 75cl

A rare multivintage blend from Tuscany. The majority of the grapes are Sangiovese, with just a touch of Cabernet Franc and malbec. This is fresh, fruit forward, and surprisingly easy to drink. Raspberry, oranges, pomegranate dominate the nose. This continues onto the palate, where it is joined by more traditional notes of tomato vine and brickish cherry’s. The finish is light, and airy with almost tea like tannins. Whilst not a big Tuscan wine, this is a delicious, and composed example of Sangiovese.
