A young boutique estate in Montalcino, Cupano released their first wine just over 20 years ago and have been making headlines ever since. They have never used any chemicals on the vines, some of which are considerably older than the estate itself. Production is small and all carried out by Andrea Polidoro. This wine is the hallmark Brunello of the estate and for good reason.

Staff Tasting Notes Concentrated cherry, subtle oak, spices, and tobacco. On the palate more fruit follows cherry, aromatic raspberries, and white pepper. There are definite hints of oak on the palate however in no way overpowering. Give this wine time or drink now, it will be delicious either way.
