David Franz Plane Turning Right 2017

A right-bank Bordeaux-style blend of Barossa Valley Merlot (60%), Petit Verdot (21%), Cabernet Sauvignon (12%) and Malbec (7%). The grapes are harvested by hand and fermented naturally by native yeasts before maturation in large capacity hogsheads to soften tannins and acidity and impart a more subtle, rounded oak influence.

Staff Tasting Notes
Absolutely classic Barossa nose and palate. Lots of vibrant cassis, black cherry, spices, tobacco and savoury liquorice. Exhuberant, full and rich with big, fine tannins.
