Domaine des Tourelles Cinsault Vieilles Vignes 2021

Bright, supple and balanced, with earthy rose petals, ripe plum, red cherry and just a whisper of anise. Medium bodied with a fresh, balancing acidity - A bottle of this and a mezze platter of gyros and you're set for the night.

A pure expression of Bekaa Valley viticulture, Cinsault from vines aged over 50 years in Western Bekaa are hand picked and wild fermented for 10 days in concrete vats, with spontaneous malolactic fermentation. The wine is aged for 12 months in concrete, followed by a further 6 months in old French oak barrels before bottling.

Official Tasting Notes
The nose has an exotic mix of ripe fig, bright red cherry and plum fruit with star anise spice, it’s lifted and pronounced. The palate has beautifully ripe red fruit characters alongside fig and spice notes. The acidity and tannin perfectly balances the generous flavours and leaves a pure, clean finish.
