Domaine Ragot Givry Vieilles Vignes 2020

Ripe and genrous with intense hits of raspberry and cherry - a bottle of this and some rillettes de canard is everything you need for a perfect evening.

Nicholas Ragot looks after 9 hectares of some of the finest vineyards in Givry AOC. This wine is made from Pinot Noir fromsome of the estate's oldest vines, averaging 50 years old. The fruit is macerated and fermented at low temperature to preserve its ripe vibrancy, before 12 months of ageing in French oak, about a third of it new.

Staff Tasting Notes
Fresh, crisp and focussed with black cherry and dark berries. Structured, layered and long.

Official Tasting Notes
Rich and oaky with masses of red and black fruits. Well-structured with firm but ripe tannins and excellent, fresh acidity. Drink 2022-2027.
