Duvel BA Bourbon

For this very special limited release, the brewers of Duvel Moortgat have taken their classic strong golden ale and aged it for 9 months in around 300 ex-bourbon barrels from a selection of American whiskey distilleries. These included Heaven Hill, Woodford Reserve, Four Roses, George Dickel and Jack daniels.

The result is a complex and warming delight, with notes of vanilla, oak spice and rock sugar while that classic heady florality cuts through to keep the palate fresh.
