For batch 7 of the Duvel Barrel Aged range the brewers of Duvel Moortgat have taken their classic strong golden ale and filled it into 624 Irish whiskey barrels from Dublin's Teeling distillery.

For this very special limited release, the brewers of Duvel Moortgat have taken their classic strong golden ale and aged it for 9 months in around 300 ex-bourbon barrels from a selection of American whiskey distilleries.

Brother Elijah, Tempests tribute to Bourbon pioneer Elijah Craig is a decadent barley wine that's been aged in bourbon casks for 24 months to inbue it with molasses, caramel, vanilla and oak flavours.  The addition of wild Scottish honey lifts the smooth richness and adds floral notes to this unparalleled barley wine. 

Pensador roasts their 100% organic Espadin Agave in an earthen ground oven with mesquite and guamuche to imbue the spirit with a delicate smokiness.  This batch was then distilled during the winter months which takes a bit longer, but also brings out light citrus, grape and stone fruit notes. 

Pensador has created a series of small batch mezcal to showcase rare, wild agaves, many of which can be quite scarce.

Pensador Ensamble is distilled from Espadin and Madrecuishe agave which is hand cut and roasted in an earthen ground oven.  This well-balanced artisanal mezcal is a product of two production runs, one in the cooler months producing a spirit full of lighter citrus notes and one in the warmer season for an earthy and rich outcome.
