A rosé Champagne of unparalleled quality, clarity and focus from the brilliant Francis Egly. Composed of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay (including a small proportion of still Coteaux Champenoise Red) from Ambonnay Grand Cru (90%) and Bouzy/Verzenay Grand Cru. Fermented in barrel by native yeasts and aged for 48 months on lees before bottling without filtration and with a dosage of 2g/L.
Staff Tasting Notes Airy, bright and floral, yet pulsing with energy and incredible depth. This is on another level entirely from the gentle aperitif rosés which are typical of champagne.
