Fornaro Soave Classico 2020

Intensely fruity and lightly perfumed with a soft salinity - This and a quality green pesto is a match made in heaven.

Garganega from three limestone soil vineyards, with an average age of 35 years, just north of the castle of Soave, is hand-picked and hand-selected for optimum ripeness and quality. Low temperature fermentation in stainless steel is followed by a period of lees aging to impart a softness to the palate.

Food Pairing
Anything with fresh basil - pesto, bruschetta, perhaps a nice pizza bianca.

Official Tasting Notes
Fresh and dry with good acidity. An elegant wine with fennel and mineral undertones and a nutty citrus finish.
