Glenallachie 9 Year Old Rye Wood Finish

A fruity single malt with good body, Glenallachie has been growing in popularity and fame over the past few years. This 9 year old is aged in American oak casks, before being finished in rich spicy American rye casks. A great dram for this just getting in to whisky.

Official Tasting Notes
Nose Cinnamon and nutmeg with waves of honey, treacle and orange peel. Palate Intense stewed spices enriched with honey, butterscotch, treacle, orange zest and hints of cloves.
