A 25 year old bottling, first distilled in 1997 at the Orkney distillery, Highland Park. This single cask has held its volume and strength well, we managed to vat 303 bottles from this hogshead at 49.6%.

Highland Park is now over 220 years old, making it one of the oldest Scottish distilleries. After so long, they really know what they are doing.

We found this hogshead to be particularly special, with notes of hazelnut and ashy smoke. 

Staff Tasting Notes

Nose – Apples and lemon peel, brown toast, and camphor. Yacht varnish, wood polish, dunnage warehouse and a smokiness that switches between fragrant heather and ash.

Palate – Sweet toffees, lemon, honey, hazelnut and charred beached bonfire logs. Reminds us of a vanilla croissant.
