La Cayetana Syrah 2019

A tiny Garagiste winemaker owned by Emilia and Eduardo Soler (Eduardo is from one of our producers Ver Sacrum) in the Uco Valley. This vineyard sits at an altitude of 1100 meters above sea level and is planted at an incredibly high density. This wine really shows Eduardos passion for the Rhone and is truly delicious.

Staff Tasting Notes
This wine masquerades at first as something sort of 1-dimensional and austere, however given 20 minutes to open up, it shines. The sheer array of aromas & flavours is almost bewildering: capsicum, black pepper, and bramble. Lead to incredible silky tannins, cherry, menthol, and violet. Delicious!
