Little Pomona Old Man And The Bee Cider 2019

2019 was a tough harvest year for the team at Little Pomona in Herefordshire. With quite a bit of hardwork, and ruthless fruit selection, they managed to produce 2 barrels of this barrel aged cider. A combination of Dabinett (67%), Harry Masters Jersey (31%) and a small amount of perry (2%) was matured for 6 months.

Official Tasting Notes
Slightly hazy and orange gold in colour, it's very aromatic with super ripe yellow plums, honeysuckle and a little vanilla. It’s fleshy and juicy, almost creamy in texture at points, loaded with apricot, peach and pithy orange fruit. There are noticeable tannins, but in that fine, soft, wet-slate style, and it finishes with a subtle salinity.
