Martini Riserva Speciale 1872 Bitter

Given it's scale and ubiquity, it is easy to forget that Casa Martini of Torino (Turin) remains one of the great and venerable companies of Italian artisans, dating back as far as 1847. The Riserva Speciale range is the reminder you might need.

This is a quality bitter aperitif liqueur made to a recipie inspired by the original Martini Bitter of 1872 and incorporates Saffron, Angostura bark, Columba and Artemisia (Wormwood). Following maceration of the botanicals, this bitter is rested in Piedmontese Tino oak casks prior to bottling.

This bitter is great alternative option to Campari in your next Negroni, Boulevardier or Americano.

Please note that Martini Riserva Speciale 1872 Bitter is coloured using Carmine, derived from the Cochineal beetle, and as such is not vegetarian.
