Meinklang Weiser Mulatschak 2021

Bright, floral and textural, with notes of rose petals, strawberry foam sweets and apple skin - A great pairing for sushi or sashimi.

A blend of Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer and Welschriesling from Burgenland near the border to Hungary. The vineyards are planted in mineral-rich volcanic soils consisting of basalt, loess and sand which retains heat and drains well.

The must is fermented, with skin contact, by yeasts native to the vineyards, in stainless steel vessels. The wine is aged for a period on fine lees prior to bottling without filtration.

Seriously uncomplicated. This kaleidoscope that has become wine awaits with the concentrated blaze of colour of a rainbow and perfectly shaped prisms of all kinds. From the vineyard through the fermenting cellar directly into the amygdala, the White Mulatschak plays a hymn of praise to the diversity and beauty of life on the Hammond organ. Juicy and mouth-watering, it tickles the spirit and inevitably makes you want to share the joy it has inherited it in good company.
