Moko Black Sauvignon Blanc

Fresh, vibrant and textured, with fresh, grassy citrus and tropical notes - Delicate enough to not overwhelm fish dishes, but punchy enough to go toe-to-toe with rich grilled prawn and langoustines.

This brilliant value kiwi Sauvignon Blanc is a 50:50 blend of fruit from the Awatere Valley, where the loamy silt soils and dry, windy climate impart an intense herbaceousness, and the Wairau Valley, where the alluvium and clay soils are famed for sauvignons with ripe citrus and tropical notes.

To preserve these primary fruit characteristics, skin contact is minimised and the must is fermented at cool temperatures in stainless steel, with no oak or lees ageing.

Zesty citrus with white stone fruits. Luscious, abundant gooseberry aromas follow through onto the palate where it explodes with a full-on citrus zing that is balanced by fantastic texture. The finish is clean, crisp and refreshing.
