A plastic packaging free zone
A tiny producer from the hills of Valpolicella. Nicola Ferrari, formerly an assistant to Giuseppe Quintarelli (arguably the most esteemed valpolicella producer) now works alongside his wife to produce wines from their small organically farmed 3ha site. Whilst the production may be small, the wines are truly phenomenal. An invitingly perfumed nose leads into a palate filled with bright red fruits, raspberries, strawberries, with the leaves attached. Followed by a savoury note of balsamic vinegar and green bell pepper. Delicious, full juicy wine, and at only 13% excellent both alone or with food.
