Pere Magloire Speyside Cask Finish RMW Exclusive

Bottled for Royal Mile Whiskies & Drinkmonger, this is a rather exciting VSOP apple brandy, aged for a total of 4 years, first in classic Calvados casks, before finishing in oak casks that previously contained Speyside Scotch Whisky. A world first! Chosen during an online tasting in November, where 50% of the attendees chose this cask for its raisins, full fruity notes and waves of vanilla. We are proud to have had the chance to work with this 200 year old Calvados maker on this.

This Eau-De-Vie De Cidre (the whisky cask means it cannot be classed as Calvados) brings new flavours to this brilliant category. One of 255 bottles.

Colour – Light amber with copper highlights.

Nose – Vanilla, floral, exotic fruits, cooked apple, butt, creme brulee. Mouth: Pineapple, cereals, iodic notes, cooked apple, candied fruit.
