Intense and jammy red fruits and plum with toasty vanilla notes and a lovely smoky meatiness - This wine should be the star of your next barbeque.

Primitivo from 35-50 year old espalier-trained vines and bush vines is fermented at 25 °C with 2 weeks of maceration before 12 months of ageing in French oak barriques (30% new) from Allier.

Official Tasting Notes
A bright ruby red colour with garnet nuances, this is intense and complex. Aromas of ripe raspberry and blackberry as well as plum jam, with clean spicy, vanilla and balsamic notes. Dry, warm, soft, tannic, persistent and rounded out by the toasted notes.
