Starward Ginger Beer Cask

The 6th batch of an Australian cult favourite. This whisky was distilled in 2017 at Starward distillery, Melbourne, and aged in a combination of Australian red wine and Apera (an Australian fortified wine made from Palamino in the style of sherry) barrels. The whisky was then finished in French oak and American oak casks which had been seasoned with Starward's homebrewed ginger beer before bottling at 48% abv.

Loaded with citrus peel and spicy ginger, it's a zesty little number with aromas of dark chocolate and orange.
