Sweetdram Wild Absinthe

A hyper local, garden-to-glass Absinthe from Edinburgh's fascinatingly idiosyncratic Sweetdram distillery.

At the distillery, Sweetdram have cultivated what they call "a minimal intervention, permaculture-style garden" where they grow all the botanicals that go in to this Absinthe. This garden is in-turn sustained with compost made from the leftover organic matter from the distillation and infusion of this Absinthe, as well as that from Sweetdram's Whisky Amaro and Escubac.

This Absinthe is infused with home-grown sea wormwood, wild fennel, bay, santolina, horseradish leaf, marigold, eucalyptus, lemon verbena, purple sage, anise hyssop and sweet cicely (for colour).

Serve over ice, swirled to melt until the spirit is chilled, cloudy, oily and sweet, or use to give an extra volatile punch to a Sazerac or Corpse Reviver No. 2.
