Tenuta Olim Bauda Nizza DOCG Riserva 2019

Produced only in exceptional vintages. Perfumed and complex with rich red berry notes and firm, structural tannins - A perfect pairing for Beef Wellington.

This Barbera is from an organically farmed, low yielding vineyard in the relatively new apellation of Nizza DOCG. The grapes are harvested and hand-selected then pressed and transferred to stainless steel vats that same day to ferment at a controlled temperature. The wine is then aged in 2500L French oak casks (30% new) for 30 months prior to bottling.

Official Tasting Notes
Deep purple. The nose is rich and complex perfumed with red berry fruits that are peculiar to this grape variety. The palate is firm and full but balanced, and the finish is persistent and enticing.
