Deep purple and viscous in the glass, with a bountiful nose redolent of black cherries, squishy plums, spices and wild herbs. Big and beautifully rounded on the palate with rich, ripe black fruit flavours, more spice and a long finish with hints of fresh fig, liquorice and vanilla pod. This single vineyard Malbec from Viña San Luis represents pretty much everything you need to know about what makes Cafayate so good and so special. For those who like their Malbec painted with a decadent splash of inky purple fruit this delivers in spades.
